Interested in having a stall at W.A.B?
We'll be providing some information on this page for prospective stall holders. At the moment, we currently have no vacancies; however we have implemented a waiting list system. If you'd like the opportunity to run your own business out of a stall at Waverley Antique Bazaar, please get in touch with us and we'll give you a run down on how it all works! Feel free to call the shop on (03) 9560 4284 during business hours (10am - 5pm) and we'll answer any questions you might have.
To our existing stallholders...
While we had planned to do a 'meet and greet', time definitely got away from us, and the last couple of weeks have been an absolute whirlwind. To those stallholders we have already met (or those we already knew from having our stalls inside the bazaar), you have all been a pleasure and we are grateful for your understanding during this transitional period. To those we are yet to meet - hello! Hopefully it won't be too long before we are able to meet in person!
You might have noticed a few positive changes around the place; our list is long and time is short, but we are attacking our new project with vigour; we know you will love what we have in store! Very shortly, we will have a stallholders newsletter ready for you to update you all with what is going on. Fear not; there are only a few small changes (and none that affect the way you operate within the bazaar!), and these are largely to eliminate any room for error in your sales (which we have achieved through the implementation of the new register systems). We now have two points of reference for that which is owing to you, and tickets will be placed in a lockable box as soon as sales are processed. This box is not unlocked during business hours and is sorted and cross-checked against our registers at the end of each day.
To answer the biggest question going around: NO. No rent has increased, and there are currently NO plans to increase your rent per month. (Can we move on now?) =)
We HAVE started our advertising campaign. Our signage is due within a couple of weeks, flyers are on the counter and ready to go, we'll be kicking the Facebook up into high gear, and our first major advert has been published in The Age within their 'Art, Vintage & Collectibles' feature (June 12th 2016). It's time to get excited!
We've also got some wonderful food options available to you now; sandwiches, rolls, muffins, soups, salads and donuts in the fridge, and beautiful hot food on weekends thanks to Michael at Guy's Gourmet Catering. Also - our coffee machine is up and running so you can grab a warm cup of something tasty anytime. (It's even got fancies like French Vanilla AND it grinds the beans to order - YUM!)
You might also notice a couple of security guards on site - we are very happy to have Scott and Glen with us to oversee the use of the roller door and to keep an eye on the place. We do have some new roller door/stock in/stock out policies which we'll update you with shortly.
If you have any queries at all, please come and find us. We are on site seven days a week. You'll probably see us running madly around the centre doing five things at once, but we DO have time for you! As soon as we are able, we'll put the stallholder newsletter on the counter to inform you of all the bits and pieces you might be interested to know, but if you have any queries or questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
So, as we gear up for another huge week, we hope to see you at the Bazaar!
